스택플로우스튜디오 operates Change Guard, a Shopify app that monitors storefront purchase paths and records recovery evidence.
Data we process
- Shop domain and Shopify app authorization session data.
- The product and variant selected for monitoring.
- An optional storefront-access password when password protection is enabled. It is encrypted before storage and is never displayed again.
- Optional Shopify Web Bot Auth signature headers used only to authorize monitor requests. They are encrypted before storage, never displayed again, and expire on the date assigned by Shopify.
- A merchant-provided email address when incident alerts are enabled.
- Check results, response status, timing, and failure summaries.
- Theme publish metadata needed to trigger a follow-up check.
Data we do not collect
Change Guard does not enter or store buyer names, addresses, payment details, or order information. It stops at the Shopify checkout handoff and never submits an order.
Use, retention, and deletion
Data is used only to operate monitoring, show evidence, and verify recovery. Merchants can remove saved storefront access credentials at any time. Operational shop data, including encrypted credentials, is deleted when Shopify sends an app uninstall or shop-redaction request. Customer data requests are acknowledged without returning records because Change Guard does not persist customer identifiers.
Service providers and security
The app is hosted on secured cloud infrastructure. Shopify supplies authentication and webhook delivery. If incident alerts are enabled, a transactional email provider processes the recipient address and alert content. Access is limited to the services required to operate Change Guard.
